Write in role as each of the three groups involved in bullying. You will create three different letters:
- write as a victim to a bully
- write as a bully to a victim
- write as a bystander to both a bully and a victim
In each letter, pretend that you were involved in a bullying incident. This incident can be anything. We have discussed different types of bullying: physical intimidation, exclusion, descrimination, etc. What would you say in a letter as a victim to his/her bully? What might the bully write to his/her victim? What do you think a witness (bystander) might say after the fact to the bully and victim?
It should be clear in each letter what you will do the next time you see bullying of this type happen again. Perhaps it will help you to think of times you were actually in those roles when bullying occurred.
